Thank you for your interest in arranging a group visit to Amherst College! We are pleased to welcome high school groups, select middle school groups, and community-based organizations that support students in the college search process.
Group visits are designed for 10 or more students. To request a visit, please submit this form at least three weeks in advance of your preferred date. All requests remain pending until confirmed by our staff, and availability depends on the academic calendar as well as the schedules of admission staff and student tour guides.
Visit Details
- Group visits usually include a student-led campus tour and/or an information session with an Admission Dean, when available.
- Programs are designed for students in grades 9–12 or others preparing to apply to college.
- We welcome groups of all sizes; however, preferred programming may not always be available for groups larger than 50.
- Group tours are generally unavailable during exam periods and academic breaks (see our Academic Calendar). Community-based organizations, high school–run access programs, Title I–eligible schools, and community college groups may request dates outside the standard availability.
- If a guided tour is not available, groups are invited to enjoy a self-guided visit to campus
